
Mission:
To provide Sanctuary to abused, neglected and needy animals while working with Law Enforcement to ultimately end cruelty and raise community awareness.These are the purposes and goals of our organization
as stated in our Articles of Incorporationa) To provide sanctuary to abused, neglected and needy animals, primarily domestic and livestock; thus provide necessary veterinary care, hospice care and/or foster and rehabilitation care for said animals.
b) To certify and employ a Humane Investigator to answer cruelty and neglect complaint calls, and work closely with local law enforcement and district attorney(s) to appropriately enforce laws and penalties regarding criminal intentional harm to non-human animals under Iowa statue and local code of ordinance.
c) To educate the public about such cases and what community efforts can be made to reduce such crimes.
d) To encourage a community crime-watch which non-human animals are victims of violent and other related crimes.
e) To fund raise and therefore sponsor free or low cost spay and neuter clinics to reduce the overpopulation, thus euthanasia (kill) rate within the Central Iowa and surrounding areas.
f) f) To provide emergency services in case of community evacuation, natural disaster or
other circumstance.
